This series  of work, begun in 2018, comprises paintings, sculptures, and moving image.  It arose from an interest in female agency in Greek mythology, particularly that of Penelope in The Odyssey. 'Histos' means warp or web; anything set upright, as in a loom. The objects and vessels below are made from beeswax, leather cord, and scrim. Dimensions variable.
